reps hold talks with Rijkaard |

Rijkaard looks more and more likely to be the new trainer of Barcelona and
reports indicate that talks are taking place with the former Dutch
international. According to Dutch TV sports program 'Studio Sport'
Barcelona representatives are currently in Holland to hold talks
with Rijkaard. It was also reported by the Dutch daily newspaper 'Algemeen
Dagblad' that Barcelona would like to bring Marco van Basten to Nou Camp
as assistant to Rijkaard. Although Van Basten has very little coaching
experience, he is currently following a trainer course and has been
working with Ajax where he is due to become coach of the youth team next
season. |
