Arthur Numan set to return to Rangers

25 Jun 2003

Arthur Numan, who is planning to further his career in America,  looks  set to make a temporary  return to Rangers and will probably be signing a six months deal with the Scottish Premier league side. In an interview in the English daily newspaper 'Daily Record' Numan's agent Joop Korevaar explained the ex-Dutch internationals decision.
"At first Arthur said no to Rangers but it is now possible he will go back.
Hopefully he can sign for six months before fulfilling his dream of playing in America. The deal would be beneficial to both parties as Arthur's experience would be big help to Rangers in the Champions League. I'm waiting to hear back from Rangers but I'm hopeful something can be sorted next week."
