Ajax have targeted Turkish midfielder Gokdenis Karadeniz as a possible replacement for strikers Nikos Machlas
and 'Mido' who are both currently on loan to Spanish sides Betis and Celta.
Ajax trainer Ronald Koeman sent one of his scouts to watch the the
23-year-old in action last weekend against Trabzonspor. As the scouts
reports were extremely favorable, Koeman is now planning to send Ajax's
assistant trainer Ruud Krol to Turkey this weekend to evaluate Karadeniz
performance against top club Galatasaray.
