Ajax trainer Ronald Koeman has stated in the Dutch Daily newpaper 'De Telegraaf' that the club are to start looking for a new striker. After banishing Mido to the reserve squad for the rest of the season, Ajax are confronted with having only one center forward in their squad and with just one week left to the Dutch transfer-window period left, Ronald Koeman has decided to comb the local market this week for a replacement. Ajax's front line has also been severely weakened now that Andy van der Meyde has to sit out a four match ban and is lacking a replacement for the Dutch international as Victor Sikora, Wamberto, Jari Litmanen and Rafael van der Vaart are still on Ajax's injured list.
