signs for Saudi side Al Ittihad |

Former Ajax forward Tijjani Babangida has found
himself a new club after spending the summer without one since being given
the shove by Ajax where his contract had run out. The Nigerian player, who'd
been with Ajax since 1996, spent the last two years on loan to Vitesse and
Turkish side Genclerbirligi . He's signed a deal with Saudi club Al Ittihad
after receiving a tip from Ahmed 'Mido' Hossam who told him of the Saudi
interest and reassured him that the level of football at the Saudi clubs was
high enough to warrant signing a contract.
