Vitesse have signed Yugoslavian midfielder
Aleksandar Rankovic on a contract for next season. The 23 year-old Rad
Belgrado player, who will be officially presented to the press today,
played 45 minutes in the weekend's friendly against Theole which was won
9-0. His arrival coincides with Victor Sikora's departure for English
Premiership side Fulham. Technical manager Jan Streuer had explained last
week that the income from the sale of the striker was necessary before the
Arnhemmers could consider buying any new players.
