Foeke Booy had to swallow hard when he heard that
his team Utrecht had drawn Polish side Legia Warschau in theng round
of the UEFA Cup. "We are clearly the underdog and, having seen them
play against Barcleona in the Champions League it's obvious that they are a
technically proficient and thoroughly capable team we face."
Heerenveen and Vitesse have mixed feelings about their Romanian opponents.
Foppe de Haan sees possibilities for his side against National Boekarest,
"Precisely because they are completely unknown to us it's an advantage
to play the first leg away and, in any case, it could have been worse!"
Vitesse defender Dejan Stefanovic is not exactly happy to hear that Rapid
Boekarest are the Arnhemmers' opponent, "They're the most difficult
team we could have drawn but there's still a 60% percent chance for us of
winning".
