Ajax sign Nourdin Boukhari

Ronald Koeman shouldn't be losing any more sleep concerning the left-flank of his team after Ajax snapped up Sparta's Nourdin Boukhari today. The 22 year-old forward has signed a deal for 4 years with the Amsterdammers and the (unknown) amount of money paid will undoubtedly help financially troubled Sparta out of some of their remaining debt-problems while strengthening their position as they attempt to gain a new licence for next season from the Dutch FA (KNVB). The left-footed player made his debut for the Rotterdammers' first team lineup on February 9th of this year and was under contract till 2003. Boukhari left Holland this afternoon to join Ajax's squad who've travelled to Scotland for tomorrow's friendly against Glasgow Celtic.
