Ajax's Ahmed 'Mido'
Hossam, has been nominated by the African Football Federation for the
African Footballer
Of the Year Award. The Egyptian international will be competing for the
prestigious title against Liverpool's Senegalese forward El Hadji
Diouf and French club Lens' Senegalese midfielder, Bouba Diop.
The winner will be announced in the South African capital of Johannesburg on
March 31.
