PSV have presented their newest
Korean signing yesterday amidst a packed press conference. Hiddink who is
intending to use his knowledge of the Korean Football scene to help bring
more talented Koreans to PSV stated that he is absolutely delighted with the Park
Ji-Sung. Park's qualities lie in the fact that he is completely all round
and has an enormous amount of energy. The 21-year-old utility
midfielder, who plays for Japanese club Kyoto Purple Sanga, signed a
three-and-a-half year contract.
Hiddink: "I have known Park for two and a half years and he will
strengthen our squad because he is an attacking player who can play on
either flank or behind the strikers. He also has mental strength and is a
fighter who never gives up."
PSV president Harry van Raaij said: "We have signed a quality
footballer and it's also a good deal in marketing terms."
