Ajax are faced with a serious goalkeeper problem
as they prepare for theng of the new Ere Divisie season. Their
Australian reserve-keeper Joe Didulica picked up an ankle injury several
weeks ago and no.1 choice Bogdan Lobont has developed a shoulder problem
which he'll be going into hospital to have scanned today. If the MRI-scan
reveals a serious injury the Amsterdammers will consider buying another
keeper. The ArenA side's 3rd choice goalie is 20 year-old Maarten
Stekelenburg who'll have the daunting task of defending goal against
Manchester United and Barcelona during this weekend's Amsterdam Tournament!
