Steve Olfers is leaving Excelsior in a row over
his contract. The defender was one of the best players in the field during
Saturday's match against but will now be returnoing to feyenoord after
rejecting the wages he's been offered by the Kralingers. Olfers is one of
several Feyenoord players currently on loan to the newly promoted Rotterdam
satellite cluband has been at the Woudenstein stadium for the last two
seasons. now that the tema i splaying in the Ere Divisie he's demanded an
improved deal which the the club is unwilling to meet. He's decided to
returnto the kuip where he can earn more money playing for the reserve team!
Excelsior are sad to see him go but can't understand his decision to go for
the money rather than continue playing Ere Divisie football.
