Vitesse will miss Stefan Nanu for the start of
the season after the defender twisted his left knee in training on Thursday.
The 33 year-old Romanian, who's in his 4th season at the Gelredome, will be
undergoing keyhole surgery today to see how bad the damage is. It's feared
that his meniscus is damaged which could mean an absence of 4 weeks! Purrel
Frankel will take his place for the season'sng match against Groningen
while Didier Martel looks certain not to travel north as he's been sick for
several days now.
