Sebastian Pardo joins Feyenoord squad

Sebastian Pardo will continue to play for Feyeynoord for the time being - trainer Bert van Marwijk regards the left-half as a useful reinforcement for the squad and deems it unnecessary that the Chilean player gains more experience with satellite club Excelsior. "I think he's a really good player" said Van Marwijk. The 20 year-old has joined the Rotterdammers on a one-year loan deal from Universidad de Chile with an option to buy him. He'll be training with the squad this week before returning to Chile to await the necessary work and residence permits.
