Groningen have expressed an interest in signing
Ajax's Cedric van der Gun who's been looking for a new club since being told
that he's no longer needed at the ArenA. After Pedro Kamata's unexpected
return to France (due to a severe bout of homesickness) the Oosterpark
stadium side have been desperately looking for a replacement striker.
Earlier interest in the 23 year-old by Willem II and RBC Roosendaal came to
nothing, the Tilburgers shocked when they heard the price being asked while
Van der Gun didn't want to play for RBC.
