van 't Schip returns to Ajax |

It's been confirmed that John van 't Schip will
be returning to Ajax to take over coaching Jong Ajax when Gerard
van der Lem departs for Saudi Arabia. The 38 year-old former right
winger has signed a deal for 3 years with his old club where he was player,
reserve team trainer and assistant to Co Adriaanse. before leaving for
an unhappy season with Twente, where he resigned in July. When exactly
he'll start work is dependent on when exactly Van der Lem leaves because,
although his new deal with the Saudi FA begins in July 2003, Ajax have been
asked to let him go earlier, even as early as the beginning of next month.
