According to stories in the
English press, Dutch international Jerrel Hasselbaink is considering leaving
Chelsea during the winter transfer window. "There will not be many
clubs who can afford to make me a better deal than I currently enjoy with
Chelsea while both Claudio Ranieri and the club will need my goal-scoring
abilities." The Chelsea manager was less than pleased with Hasselbaink
last summer when the striker said he was ready to move to a new club and put
him on the bench for a few matches at the start of the current season.
