Both PSV and Feyenoord are
reported to be interested in bringing Arthur Numan back to Holland. The 33
year old defender, who's contract with Glasgow Rangers runs out at the end
of this season, wants to hear Rangers new offer this week before making a
final decicion at the end of January. Numan's agent Joop Korevaar, has
already spoken with his former club PSV about a possible move and has
also spoken with Feyenoord's technical director, Rob Baan, in Decvember.
In an interview in the 'Daily Record'Korevaar said:
'Arthur wants to make a final decision at the end of the month so I
will contact Rangers this week to see what they are offering.
Only when we have that offer can
we make a decision. Arthur would like very much to stay in Glasgow but I
have also had contact from his old club, PSV
. Guus Hiddink is the manager
there and he would like Arthur to come back to Eindhoven, where he has kept
his family house for the last five years."
