missing at Vitesse's first training |

Victor Sikora was conspicuously absent during
Vitesse's first training session of their pre-season preparations this
morning. Technical manager Jan Streuer explained on the club's web-site
that they wanted to highlight the new squad for the coming season and
Sikora obviously has his mind on other things (a move to Fulham or Ajax
for example). The new trainer Mike Snoei said, "I wanted to
start this morning with a squad who are motivated to give their all for
Vitesse and Victor clearly has other plans. He has the ambition to take
the next step in his career and, though I'm not the person to decide who
goes or stays, I think he'll be better off at another club. I've also
spoken to Dejan Stefanovic about his situation and he's made clear he
wants to stay in Arnhem and I expect him to stay."
