Ajax have a serious keeper problem indeed now
that Bogdan Lobont's MRI-scan has revealed an injury which will keep him out
of action for at least the coming 6 weeks with the threat of a possible 4
months absence if surgery is required to repair the damage to the Romanian's
shoulder! Second-choice goalie Joe Didulica is also on the injured list,
leaving 19 year-old Maarten Stekelenburg defending goal during this
weekend's Amsterdam Tournament. Jong Ajax's Robert Zwinkels has been added
to the squad for the time being and will take his place on the bench for the
matches against Manchester United tonight and Barcelona on Sunday evening.
