Heerenveen have signed Halmstad's BK's Petter
Hansson on a contract for 4 years. The 25 year-old Swedish defender is
equally at home in the backline as in midfield and will be reporting for
duty at the Abe Lenstra stadium on Monday. Heerenveen
and Halmstads reached agreement on the move earlier this week but the
Swedish side wanted to hang on to him till the end of their season while the
Frieslanders wanted him immediately as they prepare for the coming season.
