Feyenoord remain one point behind Ajax
after their 1-3 away win over lowly placed Zwolle and thereby retain their
hopes of Champions League football next season. Thomas Buffel scored
after six minutes to give Feyenoord an early lead and just eight minutes
later Pierre van Hooijdonk netted with the first of two goals of the
afternoon for the 0-2 half time score. Four minutes after the break
Zwolle striker Arjan Bosschaart pulled one back for the home side to bring
some excitement back into the match. In the dying seconds of the match Van
Hooijdonk completed his brace.
