Excelsior lineup: Zbigniew Malkowski, Gill Swerts, Steve Olfers, Civard Sprockel, Michel Fernandes Bastos, Michel Breuer, Leo Koswal, Patrick Mtiliga, Said Boutahar, Cecilio Lopes, Brian Pinas.

Excelsior continue their run of good performances since promotion to the Ere Divisie with a fine away win at RKC. The home team had also made a good start to the season and got off to the better start this afternoon with several minor goal-scoring chances, the best being for Rick Hoogendorp but Excelsior got into the match andd with a goal by Patrick Mtiliga in the 45th. Second half goals by Leo Koswal in the 78th and Australian Brett Holman in the last minute gave the Rotterdammers 3 points to take home.
