Vitesse
continue to hover around the relegation zone after losing to 1-4 at home
to Utrecht.
Feyenoorder's new signing Dirk Kuyt bagged a brace,ng the score in
the 20th minute and adding another in the 54th with a beautiful lob from
what looked like an impossible angle. In between Stijn Vreven
also netted for the visitors. In the 78th minute, Belgian striker Bob
Peeters finally pulled one back for the home side but the 3 goal gap was once
again enforced when Utrecht's Finish Forward Paulus Roiha blasted home a
Kuyt assist for
the final 1-4 score-line. If Utrecht can continue their recent run of
good performances then they could well achieve European football for
next season. Although seventh placed, if they win their game in hand
they will climb into fourth place.
