De Graafschap suffered a humiliating 6-0
defeat at the hands of the Domstad side last season and were quickly numbed
tonight after finding themselves a goal down within the first 60 seconds.
Utrecht were awarded a penalty and it was put away by Dirk Kuijt. Fooke
Boy's team went 2-0 up with a 20th minute goal by striker Igor Gluscevic,
leaving De Graafschap to try and limit the damage before the break. It only
took 8 minutes of the 2nd half for Stefaan Tanghe to make it 3-0 and Dirk Kuijt
took the final score to 4-0 in the 75th. The win is Utrecht's first of the
season and a fine way to celebrate their refurbished accomodation.
