Roda JC have beaten FC Groningen 5-1
and are on equal points with RKC on 46, knocking the Waalwijkers out of 4th
place as the Limburgers have a better goal average. Brazilian duo Sérgio
(31st, 58th) and Cristiano (69th, 86th) were sharp again and both scored a
brace. Yannis Anastasiou scored the 5th and Pius Ikedia (64th) scored
Groningen's only goal. The result was a fitting celebration for defender
Mark Luijpers playing in his 350th Eredivisie match.
