PSV's challenge for a 17th Dutch
league title took a slight dent this evening after having to fight
desperately just to get a draw with AZ. Ex-Ajax defender Tim De Clerd the score for the visitors in the 25th minute, and Ali Elkhattabi
made it 2-0 two minutes before half-time. However after the
sending-off of AZ's Michael Lamey in the 60th minute of the game for violent
conduct, PSV edged their way back into the match through two free-kicks in
the 69th and 80th minute from substitute and out of favor striker Arnold Bruggink.
