Heerenveen denied Vitesse their first win under
new trainer Sturing with a Stefan Selakovic 89th minute goal. Heerenveen
went into the lead in the 15th minutes after Daniel Jensen
pounced on a Georgios Samaras pass and scored with a well-placed shot past
Dragoslav Jevric. In the 30th minute
Belgian international Bob Peeters headed in a corner from six meters and
with just four minutes remaining of the first half Matthew Amoah put Vitesse
ahead after receiving the ball from Heerenveen goalie Hans Vonk.
In the second half Heerenveen pushed forward for the equalizer and with just
one minute to go they were rewarded for their efforts when Marcel Seip's
free-kick was rounded off by Stefan Selakovic
