Ajax will have to watch out for their second place as Feyenoord continue their good performances of the past few months and now edge to within one point of the Amsterdammers.  Pierre van Hooijdonk was Feyeoord's man of the match as he scored a hat-trick to help Feyenoord crush Heerenveen 5-0.
Thomas Buffeld the score for Feyenoord in the 9th minutes of the game with a low hard drive and in the 40th crossed to Robin van Piersie who increased the gap to two goals with a 12 meter shot. After that Van Hooijdonk took control of the match with goals in the 57th (brilliant free-kick) 61st (nice shot) and 68th (Penalty) to finish off his hat-trick in just 10 minutes.
