Feyenoord beat Roda this afternoon 3-1 ,
ending their rights of the automatic UEFA Cup qualification. The Kerkraders
will now have to hope for a backdoor entrance which can only be obtained if
Feyenoord lose this Saturday's Dutch FA Cup final against Utrecht. Feyenoord
striker Bonaventure Kalou put the home side the lead after 26 minutes and
Filipovic doubled the advantage with an own goal to give Feyenoord a 2-0
half time lead. Christiano gave
the visitors some hope four minutes after half time, but a third Feyenoord
goal from Thomas Buffel sealed the win after 77 minutes.
