Bottom of the table De Graafschap
snatched a late winner after they raced to a 3-0 lead in the first 22
minutes of the game with goals from
Tim Bakens (8th), Dennis Schulp
(16th) and Damiën Hertog (20th)Tim Bakens, but
fellow relegation candidates Excelsior fought back and
with an hour gone they were on level terms thanks to goals from Said
Boutahar, substitute Brian Pinas and Brett Holman. However, De Graafschap
had the last laugh when Arvid Smid found the back of the net after 90
minutes. De Graafschap's first
away win in 15 months as they close the gap with Excelsior to two points.
