NEC continue their run of good
performances with this 1-3 away win against De Graafschap at the Vijverberg
stadium, giving the "Superboeren" their 6th consecutive defeat.
NEC, who won their last match in Doetinchem on August 20th 1995, struck in
the last half-hour, Patrick Ax and Gorgi Hristov putting them 0-2 up with
goals in the 62nd and 70th minutes. Arvid Smit's 88th minute goal gave the
home team a flicker of hope that was dashed a minute later when Danny Hesp
put the 1-3 on the board.
