De Graafschap join the realms of
obscurity after being beating 2-1 by Zwolle and will now compete in the
Dutch Eerstedivisie next season. The win was also of little consolation for
Zwolle who are forced to compete in the end of season playoff for
Eerstedivisie survival. Zwolle
got off to a good start with Richard Roelofsonng for the home
side after just three minute. De Graafschap defender Michael van der Kruis
unfortunately fell over the ball , leaving Roelofsen to round off from 12
meters. In the 21st minute Arjan Bosschaart gave the home side a two
goal advantage . Van der Kruis was unfortunately was again involved when he
mis-kicked a simple through ball leaving Bosschart to round off from 10
meters.
After the break the visitors were more adventurous but it took until the
dying seconds of the match before Van der Haar bagged a consolation goal.
Ex-Ajax striker (and Dennis Bergkamp look alike) Dennis Schulp passed to Van
der Haar who then fired home a low shot across the goal into the
bottom left corner.
