Graafschap were outclassed at home this afternoon by Foppe de Haan's 'Flying
Friesians' . In spite of Heerenveen's dominance De Graafschap somehow
managed tothe score via Arvid Smit. Nonetheless Heerenveen drew
five minutes level before the break via Romano Denneboom . Two minutes after
the break John de Jong (on hire from PSV) increased Heerenveen's lead to 1-2
and just five minutes later new
signing Gerald Sibon netted for the 1-3. In the 64th minute of the game
Denneboom was once again on target for the final 1-4 score-line.
