signs for Real Sociedad? |

to Dutch public broadcaster NOS' Studio Sport programme former
Vitesse and Twente keeper Sander Westerveld has signed a contract with
Spanish side Real Sociedad, currently bottom of the table in
the Primera Division, for 2½ years. His agent Ton van Dalen is denying
that a deal's been done and says that Liverpool and Real have yet to agree
terms, added to which a swarm of legal eagle eyes will be scrutinizing the
contract before anything's signed! The Dutch international, who became superfluous at
Liverpool after the arrival of Jurek Dudek and Chris Kirkland, has
apparently had a
clause put in his new contract allowing him to leave the club if they are
relegated.
