confirms 'foreign' interest |

Danish international Jon Dahl Tomasson has confirmed, through his agent
Emile Miedema, that there are now several clubs who've made an official
approach for his services. Juventus, AC Milan (meeting with Miedema in the
next week), Valencia and Celta Figo have all officially inquired about the
striker while Barcelona, despite chairman Carlos
Rexach's press-conference statement
that Barça were going to make an official bid, are still only putting out
feelers via a go-between and there are only rumours about English
Premiership interest. Both Tomasson and his agent claim that the Dane
would still much rather prefer to stay in Rotterdam but that begins to
look increasingly unlikely.
