Van As needs operation |

Jeffrey van As is being operated today for an inflammation of the achilles
tendons. The 29 year-old defender has been suffering from the injury for
some time and it was thought that the problem had resolved itself but an
operation has now been deemed necessary to remove damaged tissue. It's not
known how long it will be before Van As (who's played 110 matches for his
club) will be match-fit again.
