have hung a €6.5 million Euro price-tag around Sander Westerveld's neck,
although the goalie expects that the club could well accept an offer of
€5 million Euros. Oranje's reserve keeper expects to find a club quickly
once the transfer market again for business in December and thinks
that Glasgow Rangers could well be interested in him. He's eligible to
play Champions League and UEFA Cup football which should make him a more
interesting purchase for a new employer. It's essential for him to find a
new club where he can get in some match-play a.s.a.p. (especially after
turning down a move on loan to Aláves) because otherwise
he'll lose his place with Oranje as well.
