Eindhoven are bringing back Ties Konings and
the 23 year-old forward, who played for Helmond Sport last season, has
signed a deal for one year. He failed to settle in with Helmond and now
returns to the club where he previously played between 1999 and 2001 when
he was one of Eindhoven's most reliable players, regularly netting goals
for them.

| According
to a report in Dutch daily newspaper "De Telegraaf", Hilmi Mihci
will be moving to play for Bundesliga 2nd Division side MSV Duisburg and
only has to pass the obligatory medical in order to sign on the dotted
line for two seasons! The 25 year-old striker is actually under contract
to Den Bosch but has been on loan to Eindhoven where he was the team's top
scorer this season (scoring 12 goals in 15 matches). This latest news ends
speculation that he might be moving to join Go Ahead Eagles.

| Hilmi
Mihci attracts foreign interest |
05 May 2002
|
|
Eindhoven's Hilmi Mihci has attracted the attention of several foreign
clubs. Scouts from English Premiership side Ipswich Town and Bundesliga
clubs Karlsruhe and Cologne were present during Eindhoven's last game of
the season against new Eerste Divisie champions Zwolle. Mihci, who's
on loan to Eindhoven from Den Bosch, put on a good performance for the
scouts, scoring 3 of Eindhoven's 4 goals in their 4-2 win against Zwolle.
Mihci could still remain in Holland as both Willem II and Roda JC have
also stated that they are keen to sign the striker. |

Eindhoven
beat Zwolle 4-2
The Eerste Divisie Champions were treated to a 4-2 defeat last night
and will certainly need to perform better next year if they intend to
survive in the Ere Divisie. Domingus Lim-Duan put them ahead halfway through the 1st half with his 9th goal of the
season. Eindhoven's Hilmi Mihci levelled in the 35th and then put his team
ahead in the 40th with 2 fine goals. Michel Doesburg made it 2-2 a
couple of minutes later with a close- range nodder. In the 2nd half
Eindhoven were far superior to Zwolle and this resulted in 2 more goals
from the home side. In the 61st minute Tommy Jacobs made it 3-2 and in the
81st Hilmi Mihci made it 4-2 with his 3rd goal of the evening.

Top Oss lose to Eindhoven
2-3.
Although Bas Dreef put the home side ahead after only 60 seconds of
play, the spectators had to wait until the 2nd half for more goals and
some entertainment. Ivo Jongepier levelled for Top Oss in the 55th
minute but, within 5 minutes, they were trailing again after Bouarfa
Yahiaoui was given too much space in the penalty area and scored from
close range. Luciano van Kallen made it 1-3 in the 84th, rounding off a
Yahiaoui cross. Michel van Brunswijk made the final score seem a little
bit more respectable for Top Oss, nodding in the 2-3 in the 84th minute.

Eindhoven
draw
with Emmen 1-1.
Emmen got what they came for last night, a highly desirable un
point to secure a
place in the end of season playoffs. They could have left empty-handed if
Eindhoven's Helmi
Mihci had not missed as many chances as he, so obligingly, did. Ismail Ayazthe
score for Eindhoven with his very 1st goal of the season, rounding off Van Kallen's
cross (after his teammate had made an impressive 50 meter solo-run down the
right flank). 2 minutes into the 2nd half Dennis Iliohan sprang higher than
his direct opponent and headed in from 20 meters. Eindhoven's top scorer
Helmi Mihci should have made it 2-1 a few minutes later but his pathetic
lob lacked accuracy.

Eindhoven
lose to RBC
1 - 2
RBC kept their promotion hopes alive last night after a hard fought away win against Eindhoven. Both teams used the 1st half as a
warming up and the 0-0 half time score was an honest reflection of the game. In the 60th minute
the home side took the lead.
Luciano van Kallen soloed through RBC's defence and shot from close range.
Eindhoven didn't have long to enjoy their lead. RBC's Belgian
forward levelled the score 8 minutes later and, 6 minutes after that,
Edwin de Graaf made it 1-2 for the visitors with a powerful 15 metre shot.

| Eindhoven
have told Reinder Hendriks that he can start looking for a new club. The
central defender has been on loan to the Eerste Divisie side from Willem
II, but they also have no more use for him and his contract in Tilburg
runs out this summer. The 28 year-old made his professional debut for De
Graafschap on May 5th 1991, coincidentally against Eindhoven. During the
next few seasons he became a regular feature of the Doetinchemmers' lineup
and was team captain before he left for Willem II in 1998 where his career
unfortunately stagnated.

Eindhoven beat
Dordrecht 1
- 0.
Dordrecht began powerfully but it was
Eindhoven who went
on to create the best chances. Eindhoven striker Bouarfa Yahiaouid
the score in the 10th minute for the home side after ex-Den Bosch player
Hilmi Mihci picked up the ball on the edge of the penalty area, cleverly
passing two Dordrecht defenders before slipping the ball through for the
eagerly awaiting Moroccan to put away. Hilmi Mihci should have made
it 2 - 0 early in the second half but somehow missed in front of an
goal. |

Volendam
draw with Eindhoven
A hatrick by Eindhoven's Hilmi Mihci and a late minute equalizer from
Volendam's Gerry Konings (his first of the season) proved that Holland's
1st division can be nearly as entertaining and certainly just as exciting
as Holland's premier league. In spite of playing
well since the season restarted, Eindhoven still remain bottom of the table.

| PSV
end cooperation with Eindhoven |
25 Oct 2001
|
| PSV
and Eerste Divisie Eindhoven have decided to end their cooperation pact.
The two clubs entered into the arrangement at a time when PSV were hoping
that the "Euroleague" would give them, as well as Ajax and
Feyenoord, the chance to leave the Ere Divisie. There would then be a
greater opportunity for Eerste Divisie clubs, such as Eindhoven, to gain
promotion to the Ere Divisie. The situation has changed since the
agreement was signed and both clubs will be discussing the possibility ofo
working together under different circumstances in the future. Meanwhile,
Eindhoven will also be looking for another suitable Ere Divisie
partner.
