John den Dunnen signs for Dordrecht'90

02 July 2002

John den Dunnen has signed a 3-year contract with Dordrecht '90. The striker has been under contract to Sparta since 1995 and was lent out to Zwolle in 2000. Zwolle's former coach Paul Krabbe had promised him a new deal if the team won the Eerste Divisie title but Krabbe, despite teh club becoming champions and gaining promotion, was sacked and Den Dunne didn't get offered a new deal.
Van der Pennen stays with Dordrecht

Dennis van der Pennen has made the move to Dordrecht a permanent one after spending the last two seasons on loan to the Eerste Divisie club from RKC. The 26 year-old midfielder has signed a deal for 3 years.
Serge van der Ban signs for Dordrecht

Serge van den Ban has signed a contract for two years with Dordrecht'90. The 22 year-old keeper is under contract to Ajax but has been on loan to Haarlem for the last 18 months. He played 49 matches for "De Roodbroeken" (Red Shorts) and is the successor to Rody Hoegee at Dordrecht.

Dordrecht beat Cambuur 3-1
Hans van der Wouded the score in the 15th minute with the one and only goal of the 1st half. Davey Veltman levelled in the 61st minute with his 1st goal of the season and Alex van Duivenbode made it 2-1 in the 78th with his 1st goal of the season. Rachid El Khalifi scored Dordrecht's last goal of the season in the 82 minute of the match.

Helmond lose to Dordrecht 2-4.
Helmond found themselves already trailing in the 2nd minute of the match when Mark de Vriesd the score with his 13th goal of the season. 13 minutes later Rachid el Khalifi nodded in the 0-2.  Helmond reduced the gap to just 1 goal in the 61st minute via Remco Torken but, within 4 minutes, they conceded another goal when Marcel van der Net headed in from close range. In the 84th minute Van der Net was once again on target after a scrimmage before goal. Raoul Henar put away another consolation goal back for the home side in the 84th minute.

Go Ahead Eagles beat Dordrecht this evening in an entertaining, goal filled match. Ugar Yildirimd the score in the 15th minute of the match.  Marco Boogers equalized in the 23rd with his 17th goal of the season. Erik Redeker made it 2-1 just 2 minutes later. Peter Putten scored his first of 2 goals of the evening for the 3-1 in the 31st. 10 minutes after the break  Leon van Dalen reduced the gap to 1 goal but, 4 minutes later, Peter Putten potted his 2nd of the night for the 4-2.

Dordrecht beat VVV  2-1After a goalless 1st half VVV top scorer Bernhard Hofsteded the score for the visitors with his 17th goal of the season. 4 minutes later Dennis van de Pennen went for an early shower after receiving his second yellow card for a rather trivial offence. Although reduced to 10 men Dordrecht levelled in the 80th minute via Mark de Vries and with just 3 minutes left to go former West Ham player Marco Boogers scored with a 35 meter missile.

Dordrecht beat Heracles  3 - 1.
Heracles' run of 4 wins in a row came to an abrupt end last night with a 3-1 defeat at Dordrecht. Marco Boogers put Dordrecht into the lead in the 29th minute with an impressive scissor-kick. 2 minutes into the second half Rachid el Khalifi made it 2 - 0 and in the 69th put away the 3 - 0 with his second of the evening. Although Ruud Jansen managed to pull one back for the visitors in the 72 minute the rest of the game was a mere formality.

Veendam beat  - 3
Veendam started well this evening, Tzetkov scoring their 1st goal in the 4th minute. Marco Boogers levelled the score in the 32nd but, within 10 minutes, Veendam had put away another 2 goals via Max Houttuin and Tony Alberda for the 3 - 1 half- time score. Ferry van Lare brought back a little bit of excitement in the match, with the 3-2 in the 61st minute, after which Dordrecht had a few good chances to level to score. Instead it was Tzetkov who found the back of the net again with his 2nd goal of the evening for the 4-2 and Dodrecht's Dennis van der Pennen could only reduce the gap with a last-gasp goal in the 90th for the 4-3 final-score.

Dordrecht drew with Telstar 2 - 2. Telstar are in with a chance of getting a place in the playoffs at the end of the season and Laurens ten Heuvel gave them the lead in the 5th minute. Van der Net equalized in the 45th and, after the break, Mark de Vries put Dordrecht ahead in the 51st. Ten Heuvel put away his 2nd of the match (his season's total is now 15) to grab a point for Telstar in the 85th minute.

No new contract for Dordrecht's Sandvliet

Dordrecht'90 say goodbye to Jermaine Sandvliet at the end of the season when the 24 year-old defender's contract runs out. He's been with the Eerste Divisie side since he arrived from amateur team DFC in 1997, playing 139 matches.

Dordrecht began powerfully but it was Eindhoven who w
ent on to create the best chances. Eindhoven striker Bouarfa Yahiaouid the score in the 10th minute for the home side after ex-Den Bosch player Hilmi Mihci picked up the ball on the edge of the penalty area, cleverly passing two Dordrecht defenders before slipping the ball through for the eagerly awaiting Moroccan to put away. Hilmi Mihci should have made it 2 - 0 early in the second half but somehow missed in front of angoal.

Dordrecht lose to Excelsior 0 - 2
With 3 draws in their last six matches Eerste Divisie leaders Excelsior needed to win this evening to keep alive their hopes of
promotion. Dordrecht, who haven't won since last December, saw themselves trailing 0 - 1 within only 8 minutes of play after Excelsior's Danish striker Patrick Mtiliga scored from close range.  In an attractive match it was once again Mtiliga that made the difference with a brilliant 20 meter shot 15 minutes into the second half. With Zwolle drawing at Cambuur, Excelsior are now 4 points clear at the top of the table.

Dordrecht have signed RBC's Erwin van der Woerdt on a contract till the end of the season. The 25 year-old defender was not getting any match-action in Roosendaal where his contract runs out this summer.

Zwolle beat with  Dordrecht 
Zwolle Climb into 2 position after a convincing 6 - 1 win over Dordrecht. Lim-Duan was Zwolle's top scorer of the evening with 2 goals in the 24th and 39th minute. Marco Roelofsend the score for Zwolle in the 5th minute. Lim-Duan made 2-0 and 3-0.  Henk van Steeg put away his 6th goal of the season 10 minutes before the break. Richard Roelofsen spot shotted Zwolle's 5th in the 53rd minute. Dordrecht managed to pull one back in the 60th minute via Hans van der Woude, his first of the season. In the dying seconds of the game Arno Slot made it 6 - 1 for the home side.

Jos van Eck new Dordrecht trainer

Jos van Eck has been promoted and becomes Dordrecht 90's new trainer from next season. The club have decided that Harry van den Ham's assistant is the best man to succeed him job after Van der Ham couldn't reach agreement on new terms. The former Dordrecht player (he turned out in the 1998/99 season for them) has been on the staff for the last 4 years.
Cambuur sign Rody Hoegee

Cambuur have signed Dordrecht 90's goalie Rody Hoegee on a contract for two years. The 25 year-old, whose current deal runs out this summer, started his professional career with Feyenoord's youth squad but never got to play and never got further than the bench at his next employers, Willem II and Sparta. He decided to go amateur for a while with Sporting Flevoland (now known as FC Omniworld) before joining Dordrecht last season.

Dordrecht's trainer Harry van Ham is to leave the Eerste Divisie side at the end of this season. A difference of opinion concerning money has prevented Van Ham from reaching agreement with the club on terms for a new contract.

Top Oss managed a draw last night after trailing 0 - 1 at halftime.
Michel van Zundertd the score for the home side in 36th minute, Danny Guyt equalized for the visitors in 61st. Marco Boogers put the home side ahead after scoring his 12th goal of the season only to see Top Oss level the score one minute later via Patrick Molendijk.

Emmen had to clamber back from being 0 - 2 down to earn themselves a point. Marco Boogersd the score for Dordrecht after 15 minutes, Ferry van Lare increasing that to a 0 - 2 lead in the 70th. Joseph Oosting put away a spot-shot and Dennis Illiohan added a 'real' goal with a great distance shot for the 2 - 2. Emmen stay in 3rd place on 42 points from 22 played while Dordrecht are in 9th place on 30 from 21.

Marco Boogers has extended his contact with Eerst Divisie Dodrecht '90 for one more year. The 35 year-old striker, who's also the club's technical manager, has included an option to play for yet another year in his new deal. He started out with DS '79, the forerunner of Dordrecht'90, moving on to play for Utrecht, RKC, Fortuna Sittard, a return to RKC, then on to Sparta, Groningen, West Ham United, a 3rd spell with RKC Waalwijk and lastly Volendam. Since he joined Dordrecht in the 1999/2000 season he's scored 164 goals in 395 matches.

Dordrecht's Mark de Vries arrives at Crystal Palace's Selhurst Park Stadium this week for a trial with Trevor Francis' side. It's the 2nd time this season that the 26 year-old striker has popped over the channel to test the waters at an English First Division club as he earlier paid a visit to London side Millwall last autumn.

Thomas Buffel, on loan from sister-club Feyenoord, put Excelsior ahead in the 14th minute and Lopez added a 2nd in the 24th. It looked like another day at the office for the Eerste Divisie leaders. However, when Sweerts was shown a red card in the 43rd it seemed as if the visitors might be able to profit. A Mark de Vries goal in the 83rd, however, proved too little too late for them.

Dordrecht lost 1 - 2 to Den Haag. The visitors,doing well in the Amstel Cup, went ahead early on in the match when Mario van Neiningen, a defender who's playing as an amateur for the Haagse side, scored ther in the 9th minute. He also provided the assist for Arjan Human to get the 2nd in the 37th. Marco Boogers got one back for the home team in the 73rd.
René Ponk signs for Utrecht

The Domstad side have added Dordrecht 90's goalkeeper René Ponk to their squad. Ponk came originally from FC Utrecht before moving to Spanish side Compostela in 1997, returning last year to Holland - it's expected he'll be 2nd choice after no.1 keeper Harald Wapenaar.
