| Vitesse
take Benfica to court |
16 Nov 2000
|
| Pierre
van Hooijdonk's old club Vitesse are off to court to get the money still
owed them by Portugese club Benfica for Pierre's transfer. They want the
7.5 million Euros still owed them to pay off a loan the club received from
utilities giant NUON. The club needs the money desperately to pay NUON 25%
of the 30 million it owes the company and to pay Bob Peeters transfer fee
of 2 million. They have waited long enough! |
