Utrecht made a promising start in their
Galgenwaard stadium against the German side Schalke 04. Their effective play
left them one goal up at half time thanks to scorer Alfons Groendijk.
Unfortunately for them, the German side's Dutch trainer Huub Steven's halftime
pep-talk resulted in a second half completely dominated by Schalke who defeated
Utrecht 3-1. |
