seem to have misled you, our viewing public, with the story we ran earlier
this week that Feyenoord's David Connolly has signed a deal for 5 years
with AZ. It seems that this was a nice piece of misinformation (we won't
tell you who we got the original story from so as not to embarass them -
but it was a Dutch language site) because we've now read that Connolly is
still trying to pressure the Rotterdammers into improving the offer they
made. If they don't, the Irish international could well be looking to move
back to England. |
