| Ajax
striker Shota Arveladze and the other "detainees" at the centre
of the FIOD investigation into suspected tax evasion at Ajax and NAC have
been released from custody after their arrest on Monday. NAC chairman John
Peek was freed on Tuesday evening so that he could attend the funeral of
Ferry van Vliet (who died in a car crash last Friday) while Ajax's former
treasurer Arie van Os, ex-chairman Maarten Oldenhof and Shota's older
brother have been released today. |
