have won the first of the end-of-season playoffs, beating Cambuur
Leuuwaarden 3 - 2 in Rotterdam. Goals from Santinho Lopes Monteiro (in the
13th) and Belgian player Thomas Buffel (in the 17th) gave Excelsior a
healthy lead - Mischa Rook got one back in the 53rd, Monteiro got his 2nd
goal in the 57th and Rook got his 2nd in the 75th. |
