| The
Euroleague
has been dismissed as unworkable and unwished for by UEFA. General
Secretary Gerhard Aigner said that there is no reason to begin a new
league for a "few clubs" (sounds kinda arrogant to me
- a reflection of the "fairness" and
"impartiality" we've witnessed at the recent European top no
doubt). We can expect a swift reaction from the hopefull candidates for
the proposed league within days if not hours! |
