Famous team from Rotterdam - arch
rivals of Ajax - founded in 1908. Home ground is the Feyenoord
Stadium ( nicknamed the "Kuip")d in 26-3-1937 with
accomodation for 65,000 fans. This is the Dutch national squad's
favourite stadium. Feyenoord have won the League 14 times and the Dutch FA
Cup 10 times. Made history when they were the first Dutch team to win the
European Cup 1 in 1970. They also won the World Trophy in 1970 and the
European Cup 3 ( the old EUFA Cup) in 1974.
