| Israël
and Schoenmaker to train Den Haag |
18 Apr 2001

Portvliet's earlier offer to become the new trainer has been rejected
and, instead, Rinus Israël and Lex Schoenmaker will be returning to
Holland next season from the Arab Emirates (where they've been coaching,
respectively, Al Wahda and Al Jazira) to take
over as trainer and assistant trainer at ADO Den Haag. Israël

an earlier candidate for the job Almelo's Fritz Korbach has pulled
out.
Piet de Zoet is temporarily in charge of coaching duties. |
| Den
Haag beat Eagles 0 - 4 |
05 Apr 2001
|
| The
hero of last night's surprise humiliation of Tot no.4 side Go Ahead Eagles
by lowly 15th placed ADO Den Haag was Ali Boussaboun with 2 goals in the
57th and 71st. Marcel Valkd the score after only 4 minutes and Ruud
Zuiderwijk added insult to injury with a 4th in the 90th. |
| Korbach
and Den Haag end negotiations |
17 Mar 2001
|
| ADO
Den Haag and trainer Fritz Korbach have been unable to agree terms -
Korbach had recently decided to leave his
current club Heracles at the end of the season and was on the lookout
for a new job. It seems that a difference of opinion regarding money has
put an end to negotiations with the Haagenaars. |

|
| Ali
Boussaboun is moving to Groningen from current Toto address ADO Den Haag
at the end of the season. The 21 year-old striker has signed a contract

scored 7 times this season. |
| Excelsior
draw with ADO Den Haag |
10 Feb 2001
|
| Despite
being given an early lead by Somalia after only 3 minutes, which made it
look as though they were on their way to a simple victory, ADO Den Haag
gave Excelsior a nasty shock with 2 goals after an hour's play from Jasper
van Dijk and Ali Boussaboun. It was Somalia who saved at least the one
point for the Rotterdammers in the closing stages leaving ADO regretting a
lost opportunity to go home with 3 important points. |

against Excelsior on Saturday. |
| TOP
Oss lose at home 0-3 to Den Haag |
29 Jan 2001
|
| The
visitors went 1-0 up just before halftime through Maarten Bak. Leonardo
got a 2nd after the break, followed by Bak's 2nd to make it 0-3. ADO Den
Haag couldn't have wished for a better restart to the season while TOP
Oss' Raymond Koopman (in his 100th match) and Ruben Jordan (in his 150th)
would have wished for something else altogether. |
| Telstar
drop to 4th after goalless draw with Den Haag |
17 Dec 2000
|
| Telstar
will be disappointed not to have won against a weak ADO Den Haag and now
drop to 4th place in the Toto table. |
| MVV
too strong for ADO Den Haag 3 - 1 |
12 Dec 2000
|
| The
3,550 fans saw plenty of action in a busy evening's football with 4 goals,
7 yellow cards and 1 red. The home team were stronger in all departments -
Rob Nuyts, Davey Heymans and Emerson scored for the Limburgers and Erik
Tammer got one back for the Haagenaars 20 minutes before time. He didn't
get to play out the full 90 minutes, 'seeing red' after hitting out at an
opponent. MVV earned themselves 4 yellow cards and Den Haag 3. |
| Zwolle
in 4 - 1 against ADO Den Haag |
08 Dec 2000
|
| FC
Zwolle are now 5th after seeing off ADO Den Haag opponents with goals by Richard
Roelofsen, Gerald van den Belt, Arnen Slot and Arjan Bosschart. René
Lievehart scored the Haagenaars only goal. Emmen will be wanting even more
to lure away Zwolle's trainer Dwight Lodeweges. |
| Valk
and Gentile return to ADO Den Haag |
06 Dec 2000
|
| The
former Den Haag players Marcel Valk and Marco Gentile are to be hired out
to their old club for the rest of the season. 33 year-old Valk no
longer has a 1st team place at Willem II. He played for ADO between 1990
and 1993, moving on to RKC, Go Ahead Eagles, Volendam and Willem II. He
