FootballNL
is an English
language website registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce
reporting on the Ere and Eerste Divisies, the Amstel Cup, exploits of the Dutch
national team 'Oranje' and the activities of Dutch players abroad.
It's been a conscious decision on
our part to concentrate solely on Dutch football with a view to creating
an ever increasing depth of information combined
with fast access speeds. Many other sites are (far) too slow in the
crucial area of download times, are using fonts which are too small (and
hard to read), employ graphics in a way which creates a 'cluttered' visual
field and try to offer 'too much' within too few square centimeters of
display surface area. The net result is a tiring
site-navigation experience - we aim to provide a relaxed, quality information
gathering session without the 'side-effects' that other
sites are suffering from! At present we are already receiving visitors
from more than 40 countries, expect that their numbers will grow at an ever
increasing rate and that our audience will
stay with us through the coming years. Football is big-business with an
international following and we feel that Dutch football, in particular,
needs and deserves an English language site that concentrates solely on
its activities and promotes foreign interest in its exploits.
